Hi, I’m Mandy.

I started Service Systems Studio to help small business owners bring calm, clarity, and organization to the backend of their service businesses.

After setting up my husband’s service business, I realized how much work is involved behind-the-scenes. I wondered how other small service business owners have the time to not only set up their backend systems, but at the same time… work!

The answer: They don’t.

While spending the day doing the actual work, they come home to work on invoicing systems, appointment scheduling, branding/marketing, expense logging, posting social media content, generating customers, etc. This leaves little time for rest and enjoying life.

That’s where I come in.

I enjoy creating structure where things feel chaotic. Whether it’s organizing digital files, documenting processes, or setting up systems that keep work moving smoothly, my goal is to help small service businesses operate more efficiently and with less stress.

At Service Systems Studio, I help you set up simple systems that simplify processes and organize the backend of your business so you can spend less time managing operations and more time focusing on the work you do best.

Instead of charging thousands of dollars like high-end, corporate business consultants, my services are a budget-friendly cross between freelancing and virtual assistance. I offer a variety of one-off freelance projects with transparent pricing, to monthly maintenance options based on an hourly rate, without costly contractual obligations.

I work part-time from home, where I balance building Service Systems Studio with life at home with my busy family — including my special assistant, my Boxer, Daisy.

My Approach

Why I Started This

Before starting Service Systems Studio, I noticed something common in many small businesses: the business itself was great, but the systems behind it were messy. Owners were busy serving customers, growing their businesses, and managing day-to-day work, which meant the backend systems often got pieced together over time. Files ended up scattered, tools weren’t fully set up, and processes only existed in someone’s memory.

I realized that many businesses don’t actually need complicated new systems… they just need the ones they already use to be organized and set up properly.

That’s the work I enjoy most: bringing structure to the backend of a business so everything runs more smoothly. When systems are organized and processes are clear, businesses operate with less stress and more consistency — and owners can focus on the work they truly enjoy.
